Spring Snow

The kids had some fun painting...they did birdhouses and butterflies. Before the storm I had tons of bulbs popping up and the lilac bush was forming buds.

Then we got this....

We ended up with 26" in all out of this spring storm.

We took the kids out sledding at our favorite place and we were the only ones there! What a great time!

No, I didn't knock the kid over.

Klara's 6th b-day party

Klara was so excited to turn 6 this year. We had a small party at home and then a bigger party with family (next post).

For her b-day party, we went bowling!! All the cousins were there and we took up 2 lanes just in kids. What a fun time! Her cake...ok, cupcakes.

Klara's 6th Birthday!

Well, our baby is 6! Anyone else feel old? This was (notice I said was) her balloon she had this morning, but sadly she popped it by 8:30am. What a big girl!

We put candles in doughnut holes this morning and shared with the daycare kids. Later when dad wakes up, we'll have presents and cake....mmmm, and more candles. A party will follow this Sat with her friends.

Ahhh, Bearizona had 3 more baby bear cubs and one was out to look at. So cute, but look at those nails...agh. Daisy is always looking for the sun...this time she was discovered laying on Kaleb's toy box. Silly girl.

A new chew bone...I'm surprise this pic doesn't show her eyes rolled back in her head.

The kids made a leap frog craft for leap day. Not sure why Kaleb has this face. Oh well, I'll take what I can get.

My dad and Clif took Kaleb out for his first shooting experience. Kaleb love shooting the BB gun. Now, a friend has given him a 22. It's a bit heavy for him, but he'll grow into it. However, he had a wonderful time and can't wait to go again.

These will not be in any order, but it's been so long since I've last posted that I'm happy to just get them on here.

Daisy had a birthday...she is now 2!! And she does enjoy being spoiled.

Grandpa and Grandma Backey came to our house to watch the kids for us so Clif and I could have our 11 year anniversary outing. Grandpa helped Kaleb start a fire.

Kaleb and Clif put the engine together that was a xmas gift. I'm not sure who ended up having more fun.

This is my mom and dad's 40th wedding anniversary celebration. Dad wanted to bake cookies with Klara.

We also took a trip to the Grand Canyon on free park day. There was a picnic in the trees, playing in the snow and sightseeing. Of course, there was the "Look mom, I'm falling over the edge" picture too.
