Spring Break 2009

The weather was perfect and warm...so the kids went outside to play a lot. This time was with playdough. (Notice they are in the grass). They also played on the swing set, with sidewalk chalk and the sand box. We also took several walks to play at the playgrounds. Clif ordered my car new headlights since the "plastic" was very scratched. So now I can see at night with the newer light bulbs.
Driver side headlight is out....the old one is still in on passenger side.

Ahhh, can you tell the difference. It looks like a new car with both of them fixed....I was just trying to save you from seeing them all.

Does anyone know why ice cubes sometimes freeze like this? Klara found my makeup Sunday morning. This is her application of it. We later used soap and water and re-applied in a better manner. She was quite proud of herself.

Today was supposed to be back to school day, but Kaleb is now running a fever of 104.....why??? So he is staying home today and taking it easy. He complains that his throat is sore....oh no. Guess that will change our week from what we had planned.

The Aveo only has $1900 of damages. I thought that was pretty good for a new car. It should be ready some time this week.

We got more snow overnight. Just a dusting, but seems weird to have snow when last week we wanted to be in shorts. Of course I just washed my car, but you couldn't tell now. Oh well, spring in the mountains....you never know.

St Patrick's Day

The kids had a great time at Grandma and Grandpa's house with all the cousins too. When they got home, we drove to town and found out the car is estimated at $1900.00 in damages. We should get it back some time next week. Since the kids were gone on St Patty's Day, we opened their goodie bags tonight from Mema and Papa. This is what they got.

Our Car

Clif ran into a tire on the freeway while he was headed to work last night. Good news....Clif is not hurt and no one else is either. Bad news...the car is a bit damaged. Thanks to the car being made out of plastic, not much "body" damage is noticed.....but Clif did say the steel arm is bent and hitting the radiator and that the engine sounds damaged (louder, squeaks, etc...) So I'll call insurance today and we will go from there. Poor car...it only has 14,000 miles on it :(bumper damage and bent steel rod (it's in the darker part of pic)

Klara's 3d Birthday Party

As promised, here are some pics from Klara's party at Pizza Hut. I try to get a group shot and out of 6 pics, this was the best one. Klara's cakes. I made a princess cake for her....I thought it turned out cute....especially for someone who doesn't bake much.

Wiped Out!! This was her first time in her toddler bed. Well, it's really still her crib but without the front rail. She loved her crib and would not climb out so I left well enough alone. However, she is 3 now and adjusting to her new found freedom and will roam. After several times of putting her back to bed, she finally crashed.

A Few Weeks Of Updates

We started off all smiles....but then our allergies got the best of this crew...So rest time was needed. Look at all 3 of my sick babies. Now that I am on meds, I am doing much better.....shhh..don't say it too loudly.
I then went on a women's retreat and then wisked off to "help" a friend whose truck broke while carrying my family. This is it broken....but don't ask me what was broken....I just know that the tire isn't supposed to be like that...

Brrr...it was cold and windy...so the kids and I hung out in the back of the car to watch.

Bu of course there was a lake....so the kids threw anything they could find in it.

Still trying to get the truck on the flat bed. They finally got it there and now he will fix it at home.

Next we have Klara's b-day. Can you believe that she is 3!! She is going to have a pizza party this weekend, but we had to do something on the actual day.

Just what every kid wants....clothes. But these are princess clothes so it's ok with her.
