Gingerbread Houses
This year some friends of ours came to our house so we could all make "gingerbread" houses. Yet, we don't care for the taste (or the work) of gingerbread so we used graham crackers instead. We combined our candies and this is what the table looked like. Geez...you think there is enough?
We had a blast! The kids only ate a little candy (yeah, right) but pose nicely to show off their houses. Each child is behind their house. Great artwork!!

Others
Our town's Christmas Tree. Yes, it's in the middle of the street. Pretty grand for our little town.
Daisy loves to be under our tree.
We got the kids up early to see the Lunar Eclipse. All 3 of them had their own "telescopes". I just love Klara's hand covering up her other eye. We all got to see the eclipse and used Clif's telescope. Very neat to see so clearly and of course, another learning opportunity.

5th Tooth!!
Well, this barely 8 year old has lost his 5th tooth this morning. I noticed he wasn't eating his breakfast and then saw his tooth just hanging there. I convinced him to wiggle it around and moments later, it was out. This is the first time he has pulled his own tooth out. Tooth fairy will visit tonight.
My parents send in pictures to the local tv station and they air the during the b-day segmet. So I paused the tv and got this pic. Fun to share this with my son!! Love ya big boy!

Dinner and a Show
Wind Farm
A new wind farm is going up about 13 miles north of where we live. We took a trip out there to check it out and we were able to get right next to one still being installed. This first picture is the "nose" with the blades attached on the ground.
This is the part that attaches to the back of the "nose". I thought it was a camper at first.
