Palm Sunday

We will be spending Easter with Clif's family, so we decided to dress up for Palm Sunday (to show off the kids of course). There will be more pics to take at Grandma's but I thought these turned out really nice so I wanted to share.

Fishing Day

It was free fish day for the kids so we went and "fished" at the pond with Aunt Christina, Katelynn and Mitchell. We caught nothing, of course, but it was fun playing and holding the pole in the water. Oh, it was cold and windy so it was off to McDonalds to eat.

What else can we cram into a quick weekend with Mema and Papa??? How about some science.

I just love Klara's face in this one. Mema has her hand in our homemade "quicksand" and Klara will only watch.
Don't forget the Easter baskets too. Klara got a bunny basket and Kaleb's was wood. The best part is that they are filled with Yummy candy!!

It's Tradition!!

The coloring of Easter eggs....a tradition in our family for who knows how long. I think we end up with more color on our fingers than on the eggs. Again, due to Papa's schedule, we made this a priority too.

A Princess Party For Our Princess!

Klara is lucky to have 2 birthday parties for her 2nd birthday. Mema and Papa could only make it (due to his work schedule) this past weekend. So we invited a few friends and had a party. Klara is also developing allergies to our warmer weather so her eyes and nose are a bit red. We will be celebrating with Clif's family on Easter and have a small family party for her there. We felt like it would be easier on all the family since Easter is in March this year.....too early. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the pics I have and I'll update her next party asap.

A Few Random Pics

Klara got up this morning and wanted to wear a dress for the day....so before she got upset, I took a few pics of her looking cute.
Kaleb got new handcuffs and he LOVES them. Thank goodness for the dollar store!!
This years Easter dress.....her daddy picked it out. (I still need to remove the tags)
Kaleb got to finger paint again today. He had so much fun I just had to have a pic. There was a time he didn't want to do this, but he was ok with it today.

Mechanic Weekend

Clif helped a friend of his on his truck this weekend. They put in 3" spacers (in red) and new shocks in the front. Then on Sunday they put blocks and new shocks in the back.
Kaleb and his friend got in on the action. Kaleb pulled out his tool box and they "worked" too.
Even Klara was outside wearing Kaleb's "work" hat.

I just couldn't resist taking these pics of the kids. I wish I could sleep like a kid again! Klara just got her new princess pillow. When she lays on it she says.."Ahhh, me too". Not sure why but it's her new thing right now. Enjoy!
