Snow Clean Up
Our town is good about cleaning up the streets after snow storms, but I think this is the first time I've seen them do this on our street.
Of course, Kaleb was at school when all this happened. So I took the pics for him, but still thought I would share with ya.
I think the grader was "cleaning" up the street....then the bulldozer would scoop it up and put in the dump truck and take it away. The street was pretty slick for awhile after, but the sun warmed it up....it's amazing how much bigger our street looks now.

Home Depot
We went to Home Depot on one busy day in Flag. Lucky for us, there was no glue...just screwdrivers. So Klara tried and had fun.
Kaleb too.
It was all so fun, Klara lost her gum from her mouth. We escaped the glue and paint, but not the gum....it found her hair. So after many people saying to use peanut butter (which by lots of experience I know it works) I started to ask them for some in the middle of home depot. Oddly enough, no one had any....duh...and scissors became the weapon of choice. This girl will end up with a "bob" soon at this rate.
But soon to smiles again and proud display of her handy work. Kaleb knew these were helmets and so the pose.
New Years 2009
Last Day of 2008 Snow Pics
Great Granny Nadine
Whenever we go to Phx, we always stop and see Great Granny. I guess we could name this visit as xmas #4 (that will make sense when you read the next post). So we exchanged xmas gifts and the kids sang xmas carols to her. She had a good day and enjoyed the visit as we did too.
Back at the house we had a quick fire and the kids got to have marshmallows.
Clif was taking pics of the fire and he got this one right when the fire was "popping". Pretty neat.
Christmas 2008
We got to celebrate Christmas 3 times this year. We started out with xmas eve service at church where I sang twice that night. Then we opened up gifts as a family of 4.
Klara showing off her new stroller that she really needed.
Kaleb loves his Bears shirt.
Then we were on our way on xmas day to travel when we heard the engines. Our local fire dept drives around town on the 25th with santa in tow and they hand out candy canes to anyone who comes outside to see. The sirens and lights are usually on and they travel slowly. Of course, we got out there right when they were leaving....so Clif to the rescue. He tracks them down and asked them to come back. Gotta love small towns. I'm not sure who was more happy to see it...the kids or me.
Then we made our way slowly down south to Clif's side of the family. Everyone was able to meet there and have xmas #2.
Klara shows off a movie they got....very cute.
Kaleb got some trucks that he just loves.
And daddy got to assemble Kaleb's new big wheel bike.
After a great "dinner" we all got to veg and watch a movie together. This is not all the family, just what I could get. All together there are 17 of us. We ended our night together with xmas caroling and looking at the neighbor lights in the back of grandpa's big truck.
Klara got her new baby which she has named Bella.
Kaleb got his drums!! In the form of drum sticks.

Then we made our way slowly down south to Clif's side of the family. Everyone was able to meet there and have xmas #2.
That night, we traveled down to Phoenix to see my parents. It was a late arrival and we put the kids to bed pretty much right away. The next morning (26th) was xmas #3.
After another yummy dinner, we took a boat ride at sunset. What a great time we had with all our family.
