A Few More Pics

Kaleb was having an off day with his tummy. When it as dinner time we searched the house looking for him and this is how and where we found him. I just couldn't help but take the pic.

Thanks to the monsoon, we've had some great rain and clouds. I took this one the other night.

Cute

The kids looked cute for church and both wanted their pics taken. This is rare with Kaleb sometimes, so I seized the moment. They both look cute (minus the water mark on Klara's blouse).

Picnic

We went to Clif's company picnic today. Of course there were balloon artists. So Kaleb got this Spiderman. So funny how it was attached to a "web" and then swinging off his head. I took pics of the kids with the balloons right after they got them....knowing full well that they would not last long.

And I was right. Klara got a pink butterfly....it popped not but 30 seconds after it being in her hand. Of course, I still took the pic.....poor butterfly....there's only half. But the kid is still cute.

He's Playing!!!

Kaleb had another game today. I don't know why the difference (not that I'm complaining) but he is starting to play the game!! It all started this past Thursday. We got to practice early and he and I kicked our ball around. We started to play and slowly the other team members started to join in. He did all the stretches that coach asked him to and all the practice too. They swore that I bribed him, but I didn't. So then I didn't know if he would play or not at the actual game, but again, he did! I followed the same procedure as practice day and he did great. Again, he followed instructions from his coach and chased after the ball. I was so proud.

The ref did not show, so Clif was asked to step in. Of course, we are first timers and had to clue what to do....but Clif rose to the task and did awesome! I think he made have found a new hobby.
I just have to show off one more pic. This one is Kaleb throwing the ball in. Can you tell how happy I am??

Bird House

Home Depot had their free craft day again. This time Klara was able to get her apron. This month's project was to build a bird house. Next month it will be a flag pole.

4th of July

The 4th was a busy day. We got lots of yard and house work done that morning....after a pancake breakfast of course. Then some friends came over and we all went swiming at our local pool for free. It was busy there but the "free" part made up for it. We hurried home and just beat a great thunderstorm. Then a few more friends came over for hamburgers and banana splits. We missed the evening parade, but with the rain we decided to stay dry inside. It was a great time eventhough we didn't have any fireworks....we did watch some on tv.
