Toothbrushes and Starfall

The kids got new toothbrushes. I found a cheap set of 2 with a boy and girl color. Unknown to me, they light up and blink for 1 minute. The kids LOVE it!! I can't tell you how many pics I took to get this one when both were lit at the same time. Now we have a new game....brush teeth in the dark.....ah, what ever will work. Thanks to Mo, she told me of a great website starfall.com for early readers. Kaleb loves it! He even read to his sister. I think this is a great pic with his hand on his chin.

Klara's New Bike

Klara got a used bike from a friend of ours and she loves it!! But she keeps pushing back and applies the brakes, so she doesn't go very far. Yet, she can reach he pedals and is very happy.

Last Day of School

I thought it was only fair to get last day of school pics since we got the first day. I'm not sure who is more excited, me or him. I'm really happy to have him home.

Our New Bed

We had saved enough $$$ and bought a sleep number bed. Clif put it together. This is the foundation (above) and this is before he put the bladder in for the air.
The finished result!! We are really liking it yet we still need to find our right number. We also need to save up more $$$ to buy bedding. Our old queen comferter is working for now.

Graduation!!

Well, it happened, our little boy graduated from kindergarten. Boo Hoo.
The evening started by going to the barn (yes, it's the country) where graduation was held. There were a few announcements and then the kids got dressed for the play.
All the forest creatures.
Kaleb is a deer. Thanks to our friends P and C Jane for the costume! (The wings are on another child, not on Kaleb....that would be silly)
Kaleb's turn in the play.
After the play, they sang a few songs and Kaleb did the hand motions!!!! Success!!!
Getting his diploma from his teacher. The teachers baked a cake with all the kids names on it.
When we got home he got to open his graduation mail.

We are so proud of you Kaleb. You have worked hard and I can't wait to see you grow up.

Yard Stuff

Just wanted to show a few things off. Our rose bush is surviving. It was covered most of winter in several feet of snow....and it still ALIIIIIIVE. Thanks to R and C Lan....for giving it to us for watching their pets way back when.
Klara's gotta pose.
Our backyard now after lots of rain and a little tlc. (plus Clif mowed it)
This is a wild tree that decided to grow in the dog run. I let it so it would add shade. Well, it started off as a bush.....since it is so tall now, I trimmed it to look more like a tree. I like it better this way. Plus, less flies!!

T-ball in Seligman

Another game...this one in Seligman. It took us about 45 minutes to get there. The closer we got the worse we all felt. We have been battleing sinus infections. I have a triple wammie. Sinus infection, double ear infection and bronchitis. So needless to say, the moving to lower elevation was quite the effort because we felt our ears would explode. Then it was cold, rainey, windy and overall icky. But Kaleb did really well. He got to run the bases a few times and did great on hitting the ball.
Klara looking pitiful....red eyes, tears....you don't see the runny nose.
