Home Show

The kids and I in the "monster truck" style ambulance.
Kaleb is in heaven!
Monkey see, monkey do.
The kids got to pet a baby chick. Klara wasn't too sure, but Kaleb would have loved to take one home.

More Easter Fun

Finally, I have a few mintues to do this update.
Our family pic at the Backey's house on Easter.
Klara and her cousin got a head start on finding eggs. Then the older kids came out. And this is the result. All 8 cousin enjoying their loots.
We also did Klara's b-day party down there too. This was a fun day!

Palm Sunday

We will be spending Easter with Clif's family, so we decided to dress up for Palm Sunday (to show off the kids of course). There will be more pics to take at Grandma's but I thought these turned out really nice so I wanted to share.

This one with Klara peeking over Kaleb's shoulder is so precious.
I love both of these too.

Fishing Day

It was free fish day for the kids so we went and "fished" at the pond with Aunt Christina, Katelynn and Mitchell. We caught nothing, of course, but it was fun playing and holding the pole in the water. Oh, it was cold and windy so it was off to McDonalds to eat.
Kaleb is in red, Klara in the middle and Mitchell in blue.

What Else??

What else can we cram into a quick weekend with Mema and Papa??? How about some science.
The kids show off their milk trick.
I just love Klara's face in this one. Mema has her hand in our homemade "quicksand" and Klara will only watch.
Don't forget the Easter baskets too. Klara got a bunny basket and Kaleb's was wood. The best part is that they are filled with Yummy candy!!
Kaleb showing off a little white bunny that was inside a chocolate egg.

It's Tradition!!

The coloring of Easter eggs....a tradition in our family for who knows how long. I think we end up with more color on our fingers than on the eggs. Again, due to Papa's schedule, we made this a priority too.

Daddy and Kaleb
Klara being cute
Kaleb did this egg and was very proud of himself.
I should have taken a pic of the aftermath, but it would have been some pretty wild eggs.
