Klara's 3d Birthday Party

As promised, here are some pics from Klara's party at Pizza Hut. I try to get a group shot and out of 6 pics, this was the best one. Klara's cakes. I made a princess cake for her....I thought it turned out cute....especially for someone who doesn't bake much.

Wiped Out!! This was her first time in her toddler bed. Well, it's really still her crib but without the front rail. She loved her crib and would not climb out so I left well enough alone. However, she is 3 now and adjusting to her new found freedom and will roam. After several times of putting her back to bed, she finally crashed.

A Few Weeks Of Updates

We started off all smiles....but then our allergies got the best of this crew...So rest time was needed. Look at all 3 of my sick babies. Now that I am on meds, I am doing much better.....shhh..don't say it too loudly.
I then went on a women's retreat and then wisked off to "help" a friend whose truck broke while carrying my family. This is it broken....but don't ask me what was broken....I just know that the tire isn't supposed to be like that...

Brrr...it was cold and windy...so the kids and I hung out in the back of the car to watch.

Bu of course there was a lake....so the kids threw anything they could find in it.

Still trying to get the truck on the flat bed. They finally got it there and now he will fix it at home.

Next we have Klara's b-day. Can you believe that she is 3!! She is going to have a pizza party this weekend, but we had to do something on the actual day.

Just what every kid wants....clothes. But these are princess clothes so it's ok with her.

Waffles For Dinner??

Mmmm. I had a sweet tooth so we had waffles and ice cream for dinners (thanks to the Shetter Family for the idea of ice cream on top of the waffle!!) The kids loved it...and I was satisfied! Yummy! We had great toppings...strawberry and marshmellow toppings...hershey's, butter and syrup, and whipped topping. So very wonderful! (and in case you are wondering...no, I'm not pregnant)

Superbowl!!

We took a family pic of us on Superbowl for our Anniversary pic. I thought it turned out nice.
Then we took one of just us....darn't, I wish it were brighter....but we sure had fun on our "photo shoot" that day.

Dexter got bored....how many toys of his do you see??? Now if we could just teach him to put them away.

The kids used their 3-D glasses to watch the commercial. Klara felt they worked really well because when the "monster" came out of the tv, she screamed and ran to me then buried her head in my chest. Poor thing. She did enjoy the rest of it but held me close to protect her. Our Cards did not win, but the boys sure put up a good fight! Clif has to work on our actual anniversary, so we spen the weekend celebrating together. We went to Sakura for dinner while the Janeway's babysat for us. It was a great night and fun to get away just for a few minutes without the kids. It's been 8 years and I look forward to the rest of them!! I love you Clif!

Experiment

Kaleb was very excited coming home from school telling us about an experiment he did that day. He asked to do this again, but couldn't remember all the "stuff" he needed. After a few minutes of trying to help him figure it out, I called his teacher and got the info. So he "made" it all and got to show us how to make raisins dance. He was quite proud of himself.

Our new TV stand. We sold the old entertainment center and go this one. Clif got it all hooked up and we bought a new Bose to put on it. We are very pleased with our purchases.
